His son, Gaston, initiated the production of Breitling watches in 1914 for the military during WWI. Displays a volcano Black dial with a Gold "B" emblem, applied polished index hour markers, polished luminous fill steel arrow hands, fine printed minute/second & fraction of a second track with luminous dot hour markers minute at outer rim. Silver rimmed black subdials, Date window at 3, Small seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock.
